More than Drop Offs

Before Deliveries
Bridging Grace volunteers follow the delivery calendar, which lists the dates for each BG recipient’s monthly grocery drop off. Then the assigned volunteer communicates with recipients to coordinate a specific time window on that date

During Deliveries
Bridging Grace volunteers will follow COVID-19 safety protocols set forth by the Alameda County guidelines when delivering groceries. Grocery drop offs are curbside or right outside the door of the recipients

Outside of Deliveries
Part of Bridging Grace’s hope for our recipients is that they build a relationship with those who drop off groceries. We encourage our volunteers and Board Members to regularly stay in touch with recipients (via text or phone)
